Zipp’s Total System Efficiency (TSE) design infuses the 808 Firecrest with new features, including a weight reduction of more than 300 grams compared to its previous iteration. The wheel is built with a hookless, tubeless rim profile and a 23mm internal width, ideal for running wider tires at lower pressures to reduce rolling resistance and increase cornering grip.

TSE addresses the four primary barriers to speed: wind resistance, gravity, rolling resistance, and vibration losses. Combined with Zipp’s legendary Firecrest rim shape, the 808 delivers exceptional aerodynamic efficiency and stability in crosswinds.
