With their special tooth profiles, mount pins and climbing aids, the Dura Ace FC-R9200 chainrings enable a particularly smooth and fast shifting process. With them, shifting under load, as one would otherwise only be used to with a rear derailleur, is possible without any problems. Its carbon fiber reinforced plastic construction with aluminum teeth helps keep weight down while increasing torsional rigidity. The Hollowglide profile of the large chainrings also contributes to this.
