The Shimano brake pads M05-RX are organic pads on a steel backing plate without cooling fins. They are compatible with the Deore BR-M515, BR-M515LA and Nexave BR-C601 2-piston disc brakes. Like all resin pads, they impress with low noise development and perfect dosage. In terms of braking power, the M05-RX are above average, which is noticeable both in dry and wet conditions.
