The FD-U6030 front derailleur of the Shimano CUES series was developed for harmonious interaction with road bike handlebars and accordingly with combined brake/shift levers (STI). The "Toggle Link" construction of the "Down Swing" front derailleur for 2x10-speed and 2x9-speed drivetrains not only enables smoother gear changes, but also a consistent and natural shifting behavior. And while the chain line, which has been moved outwards by 2.5 mm, contributes to greater tire clearance, an integrated cable tensioner ensures uncomplicated adjustability.
