Choose your preferred level of float and foot movement with SHIMANO SPD-SLR road cleats. Available in four colour-coded options, each cleat is designed to deliver a specific feel and movement profile to suit different riders, biomechanics and riding styles.

The CL-SL100 (Red) offers zero float for a completely fixed connection and maximum directness. It is designed for riders who want a locked-in feel and the most direct transfer of power.

The CL-SL110 (Yellow) provides 3° of rotational float, offering controlled movement while maintaining a stable pedalling platform. It is a versatile option for riders looking to balance efficient power transfer with some freedom of movement.

The CL-SL120 (Blue) features 1° of rotational float, providing a small amount of movement for increased comfort and reduced joint stress. It is designed to suit a wide range of riders.

The CL-SL130 (Gray) is designed for riders transitioning to SPD-SLR pedals from most non-SHIMANO three-bolt road shoes. It provides increased adjustment range for fixed-mount outsoles, although it does not offer the reduced stack height or weight benefits of the integrated SPD-SLR platform.

Compatibility

SPD-SLR cleats are designed exclusively for SPD-SLR pedals and are not backward compatible with SPD-SL pedals.

They are compatible with existing SHIMANO three-bolt SPD-SL road shoes. For the full performance benefits of the system, SHIMANO recommends using SPD-SLR shoes, cleats and pedals together.

The low-stack CL-SL100, CL-SL110 and CL-SL120 offer simplified lateral positioning, while fore-aft adjustment depends on the adjustment range built into the shoe. Riders using previous-generation SHIMANO SPD-SL shoes, including the RC703 and RC503, retain the adjustment range provided by those shoes.

For fixed-mount outsoles, the CL-SL130 provides additional adjustment flexibility while remaining compatible with SPD-SLR pedals.
