Aero performance, race-bike handling and everyday usability.
The SEKA ExAero is a modern aero road frameset developed to deliver the speed of a dedicated aero race bike without becoming a one-dimensional machine.
Rather than focusing solely on frame drag, SEKA developed the ExAero as a complete aerodynamic system, with the frame, fork and integrated cockpit designed to work together. CFD development and wind-tunnel testing with AeroCoach have been used to optimise aerodynamic performance in real-world riding conditions.
Compared with the SEKA Spear, the complete ExAero system is claimed to reduce weighted CdA by 0.00314 m², equivalent to approximately 3.68 watts at 45 km/h when tested with the Standard Gladius cockpit and dual MAG bottles.
The aerodynamic focus is paired with a lightweight carbon construction and race-oriented chassis. M46J high-modulus carbon and T1100 carbon are used strategically throughout the frame to balance weight, stiffness and strength, while SEKA's True-One-Piece Molding Technology forms the frame as a highly integrated structure.
At the front, the integrated Gladius cockpit keeps the bike clean and aerodynamic. Riders can choose between the low-profile Standard configuration or the ALTA +25mm option, which raises the cockpit by 25mm without changing reach.
With clearance for tyres up to 32mm, a threaded BSA bottom bracket and SRAM UDH compatibility, the ExAero offers the practicality required for modern road builds while retaining the sharp handling and proportions expected from a contemporary aero race bike.
For riders looking to maximise aerodynamic performance, the optional ExAero MAG bottle system integrates directly with the bike's aerodynamic design. SEKA claims the system reduces weighted CdA by a further 0.0047 m² compared with two conventional round bottles.
The ExAero is built for riders who want a fast, modern aero road bike without unnecessary compromises in weight, fit flexibility or everyday usability.
Aero when it matters. Light enough for everything else.
