The ENVE Melee v2 is a World Tour-level road race bike engineered to remove the traditional trade-off between lightweight climbing performance and aerodynamic speed.

Building on the original Melee introduced in 2022, v2 improves both weight and aerodynamics while retaining the responsive, race-focused ride characteristics that made the Melee a standout.

Developed using ENVE’s Real-World Fast protocol at the Mercedes-AMG Petronas wind tunnel at Silverstone, the Melee v2 was engineered around the complete rider-and-bike system. ENVE worked with aerodynamicist Simon Smart to refine the frame, fork, seatpost and cockpit around real riders, bottles and cages—not simply an isolated frameset.

The result is a faster, lighter and more refined race bike designed for modern road racing.

17 watts faster

Compared with the previous-generation Melee, the Melee v2 delivers up to 17 watts of aerodynamic savings, with gains across the complete system:

• Frame, fork & seatpost: 11.4 watts
• Handlebar & bar tape: 3 watts
• Aero cages & bottles: 2.6 watts

World Tour light

The Melee v2 is designed to achieve the UCI minimum weight of 6.8kg as a complete bike. A 56cm UL Black build can readily reach this target with an appropriate SRAM Red or equivalent build.

The 56cm UL Black frame weighs just 791g, while the complete frameset—including frame, fork, headset, seatpost, thru-axles and derailleur hangers—weighs 1,442g.

Refined for speed

ENVE reduced the frame's total surface area by 7.5% while refining the tube shapes for improved aerodynamic efficiency. A new, smaller headset bearing, lightweight two-bolt seatpost and BSA bottom bracket further reduce weight.

The new seatpost saves 28g, features a more efficient aerodynamic profile and uses a two-bolt saddle clamp that makes installation and adjustment simpler.

Tire clearance has also been refined from 35mm to 33mm, reducing weight and aerodynamic drag while retaining the tire volume required for modern road racing.

Real-World Fast

ENVE's approach to aerodynamics goes beyond simply making tubes deeper. The Melee v2 was developed with the rider onboard, recognising that the rider's body, legs, bottles and cages all influence airflow around the bike.

Wind-tunnel development considered:

• Real riders rather than mannequins
• Rider position and hand position
• Cadence and body movement
• Bottles and cages as part of the aerodynamic system
• Airflow through and around the rider's legs
• Compatibility with ENVE SES wheel shapes

The Melee v2 is the result: a lightweight, aerodynamic road race bike built to go fast in the real world—not just in a wind tunnel.

ENVE products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship.

Products deemed eligible under the ENVE Limited Lifetime Warranty will be repaired or replaced at ENVE’s discretion, subject to the terms of the warranty.

For first-hand original owners, warranty coverage applies from the date of purchase. For second-hand owners, coverage applies from the original product manufacture date.
