The Vaypor Knit takes Bont’s race-bred Vaypor platform and strips it back to the essentials: stupidly stiff carbon, an adaptive Dyneema® upper and a fit designed to disappear around your foot.

At its core is the same hand-laid, unidirectional Toray carbon fibre base used on the Vaypor SL, giving the Vaypor Knit an exceptionally direct connection to the pedal. With an industry-leading 3.6mm sole thickness and a weight of approximately 195g per shoe in size 42, this is Bont’s lightest Vaypor yet.

The difference is up top. An ultralight Dyneema® knit and microfiber upper conforms naturally around the foot while allowing substantially more airflow than a conventional cycling shoe. It gives you the support and lockdown you want when you're putting the power down, without turning your feet into two tiny ovens.

A dual-dial BOA® Li2 fit system provides independent, micro-adjustable tension across the shoe, locking down the heel while allowing precise adjustment through the forefoot. Underneath, Bont’s anatomically shaped carbon chassis provides structural support through the entire pedal stroke.

The Vaypor Knit is available in Standard and Wide fits, with a slotted 3-hole cleat interface for increased fore/aft adjustment. It also comes equipped with a Bont Cycling x Cobra9 dual-density EVA footbed and replaceable heel guards.

Basically: Vaypor SL energy transfer, but with a knit upper and a little more breathing room.
