Factor One V3 First Impressions

Factor One V3 First Impressions

With anticipation running high, we wanted to share our early first impressions point to a bike that represents a bold evolution of Factor’s racing philosophy. If the OSTRO VAM set the benchmark for balanced all-round performance, the One V3 looks ready to push deeper into the realm of uncompromising aero speed.

What stands out immediately is how clearly the One V3 draws from the OSTRO VAM’s DNA while carving out its own identity. The OSTRO VAM already excels as a race platform that blends stiffness, weight, and aerodynamics with incredible harmony. The One V3 feels like Factor taking that foundation and amplifying the speed-first component, refining the formula into something more aggressive, more intentional, and more visually assertive.

And visually, the One V3 is unlike anything Factor has released before. The shaping is sharper, deeper, and more sculpted, giving the frame a silhouette that is instantly recognisable. This isn’t a subtle design but one that is brutish and the dominance of the front fork is the most visually arresting feature of the bike. Even when riding the bike the fork's remain in your peripheral vision at all times and conjures up the feeling that this bike is slicing through the wind.

Performance-wise, all signs point toward a measurable step forward in aerodynamic efficiency. We have tested it back to back with a Supersix Evo which is a world class "do it all" bike and whilst we would say that it isn't an outright superlight build, it seems to still climb decently well whilst providing for an advantage in the aero department.

It also steers as you would expect a world class race bike to. The fork angles look different to any conventional bikes but the geo is dialled in. Due to the way the sizing works, we recommend working with us to find your correct size. Stock is limited during the beginning of the launch and we anticipate production to ramp up in the new year. Current ETA's indicate 45 days from preorder date to arrival.
