campagnolo-super-record-13-cassette-n3w

In 1973, Campagnolo introduced the first Super Record groupset - a consistent further development of the Record groupset that set new standards in terms of performance, lightweight construction and exclusivity.
More than 50 years later, Campagnolo is continuing this tradition with the Super Record 13 and taking it to a new level: as the fastest electronic groupset currently on the market, it not only offers the widest range of gear ratios, but also marks the beginning of a redefinition of the brand identity - developed with the aim of setting a new benchmark in the high-end segment.

The Super Record 13 chain is a central component in the precisely tuned drivetrain system and was developed to ensure maximum efficiency and shifting precision. Behind the seemingly technical simplicity lies a sophisticated design that harmonizes perfectly with the new standards of the groupset. Even under heavy loads, the chain impresses with reliable performance, as our experience with the Ekar C13 has already impressively demonstrated.
With a width of just 4.9 mm, achieved through narrower link spacing and flat, perforated pins, the chain enables fast, smooth and quiet shifting while taking up little space. The use of hollow pins not only saves every superfluous gram, but also achieves the perfect balance between lightness and resilience. A finely crafted detail that remains invisible at first glance, but can be felt every meter of the way.
The C-Link locking system makes it easier to open and close the chain, which significantly simplifies maintenance and care without compromising on durability or longevity.
Wrapped in a deep shine, the black chrome finish not only gives the chain an elegant, high-quality look, but also increases wear resistance and reduces noise when riding. The newly engraved logo fits seamlessly into the visual line of the Super Record 13 groupset and underlines the design consistency and attention to detail.

The development process was closely coordinated with professional athletes. Last season, the new brake components were used not only in training but also in competition. The feedback from the peloton flowed directly into the series production stage. In the best Campagnolo tradition, the focus was on dialog with professional cyclists in order to develop practical and performance-oriented solutions.

From experience gained with Ekar 13s, Campagnolo has developed new cassettes for the Super Record 13 groupset, designed to provide smoother, faster, more precise and silent shifting. Thanks to the reduced thickness of the sprockets and optimized spacing, it has been possible to add an extra sprocket without changing the freewheel body standard: the well-established N3W standard has been maintained without the need for adapters or dedicated hubs. The new tooth profile, combined with the Black Chrome surface finish, improves noise reduction, wear resistance and durability over time. The progression of gear ratios is more gradual, favouring an ideal cadence in all conditions, from uphill to flat sections. The smaller difference between the sprockets ensures more efficient effort management, helping the athlete to optimize performance and reduce fatigue.

Specifications
Optimized set of gear ratios to reduce gear spacing between sprockets and maintain perfect cadence in all conditions.
Wear-resistant: thanks to the use of special steels, machining with minimal tolerances, Black Chrome finish, the sprocket cassette is designed to be precise, durable and resistant.
New sprocket profiling, smoother and faster shifting, whether uphill or downhill.
N3W body: the new cassettes are installed on the N3W body, provided on all the latest-generation Campagnolo road wheels without the need for new standards.
