These are the original Steve Hogg Shims. 70 percent of riders have a functional or measurable difference in leg length. This doesn’t allow both legs to be equally fluent and powerful unless the difference is compensated for by shimming the cleat of the shorter leg.
Note: If using more than a single 2mm shim, you might need longer bolts/fasteners. You can source these from any hardware store.
