Now that the Eagle components have established themselves on the market, the Americans from SRAM are coming up with the next big coup in 2018 to further optimize mountain bike drivetrains. The DUB technology not only simplifies the combination of crankshaft and bottom bracket, it also ensures greater durability of the bottom bracket. SRAM DUB cranks have a uniform shaft diameter of 28.99 millimetres. Thanks to different variants of the completely redesigned and better sealed DUB bottom bracket, the cranks are compatible with all standard bottom bracket housings. The aluminum crankshafts have also been redesigned, reducing the weight of the DUB cranksets compared to their predecessors.
Thanks to the use of the Carbon Tuned manufacturing process, the wall thickness of the XX1 Eagle DUB crank has been selected at all points so that it has very high rigidity and is still an absolute lightweight. The crank is complemented by the new X-Sync 2 SL Direct Mount chainrings. With the proven alternating thick-thin tooth profile, which is matched to the XX1 Eagle chain, the X-Sync 2 chainrings always keep the chain securely in place. The crank is supplied with a 34-tooth chainring, but you can find retrofit chainrings with 30 to 38 teeth in our store. The crank is available with a crank length of 170 millimetres or 175 millimetres and with black or gold XX1 logos.
