The Shimano XTR HB-M9210-B Disc Hub combines durability, lightweight, and easy serviceability together in an attractive and high performance package. A stiff aluminum hub shell features widely spaced hub flanges that will improve the spoke bracing angle for better ride quality and wheel strength. Inside, the sealed cartridge bearings have an optimised seal design for less rolling resistance and great protection from the elements, and those bearings roll on an axle that has preload adjustability so the rider/mechanic can dial in the bearings for optimal performance. The Microspline freehub in the rear hub rapidly engages to provide effortless acceleration and to make it much easier for a rider to maintain their momentum when tackling uphill and/or technical sections of the trail.
