The ultimate 650B dual-purpose tire is designed for adventures where you don’t know what lies ahead. It offers excellent performance and cornering on paved roads, yet its knobs dig into the surface when it gets slippery. The tread pattern is designed to increase the amount of rubber in contact with the road as you lean the bike into turns to maximize grip.

We name our tires after the passes in the Cascade Mountains that have inspired them: Juniper Ridge is a rough trail on the Dark Divide in the center of the Cascade Mountains. To reach this remote destination, this tire combines ample width with ultra-fast casings and our unique tread pattern.

All Rene Herse tires combine the performance of high-end tubular tires with the convenience of clinchers and the width for all-road riding. The Endurance casing is reinforced for tough conditions.

The Juniper Pass is tubeless-compatible. When used with tubes, Compass recommend Schwalbe SV13 tubes.
