The MET Trenta 3K Carbon Mips® is a high performance road helmet designed with elite cyclists and worn to victory at Le Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, Liège-Bastogne-Liège, Il Lombardia and Le Strade Bianche. Engineered to keep your head fresh and save you energy with every pedal stroke, the MET Trenta 3K Carbon Mips® is the most advanced road cycling helmet we have ever made, now upgraded with the addition of Mips AIR®, the lightest and most advanced rotational management system.

MIPS AIR® - Brain Protection System: MET never compromises on safety or performance. By adding MIPS AIR®, the lightest and most advanced rotational management system is integrated into the padding. MIPS AIR® was specifically developed to reduce rotational energies transferred to the head during angular impacts. Unlike traditional MIPS cages, MIPS AIR® is built into the padding of the Trenta 3K Carbon and enables 10-15mm of relative movement between the energy-absorbing layer and the padding.
3K Carbon Technology: The MET Trenta 3K Carbon MIPS® features top-level construction. Our R&D team leverages carbon fibre’s elastic modulus to reduce EPS foam density by 20% without compromising energy absorption. The result is a lightweight, better-performing shell that sets a new standard for ventilated helmet design.
NACA Vent: Originally developed by NACA (precursor to NASA), the front inlet harnesses the Venturi effect to push warm air out through strategically placed exhaust ports. This ensures constant airflow without creating drag.
Rear Deflectors: The helmet’s flat rear deflector is inclined at 25°, allowing two wide exhausts that optimize airflow when riding aggressively in the drops.
Tube-Shaped Tail: The low-profile Kamm tail works in synergy with the NACA vent and rear deflector to drive airflow efficiently, developed through wind-tunnel testing at the NEWTON laboratory in Milan.
Head Contact Surface: Only 30% of the head contacts the helmet when worn, allowing 70% to benefit from optimized airflow through the internal cavity, keeping you cooler during rides.
Sunglasses Ports: Dedicated rubberized grips securely hold your sunglasses when not worn on your face.
