Installing these cable donuts to your bike's cables no only nullifies the sound of cable slap, but also adds a splash of anodized color, at a minimal 2.8 grams per set. The kit comes standard with two pieces to fit brake cable, and four pieces to fit derailleur cable.
When installing cables on your bike, slip one or two of the donuts between housing sections on the top tube, down tube, chain stay, or anywhere else which could benefit form the sound and rub reduction of the cable donuts.
