The revised positioning of the battery not only protects better against impacts, but also allows for a design that permits even crisper shifting. The Skid Plates as well as the two-piece outer link are replaceable so that the attractive exterior of the 12-speed rear derailleur is maintained for a long time. The steel inner cage is also designed for a long service life and maximum stability. If that's not enough, the tool-free attached cage assembly can be easily dismantled and upgraded.
The integrated T-Type rear derailleur is mounted around the wheel axle and contacts the cassette directly with a new type of hangerless interface. The groundbreaking Full Mount attaching method creates a much stronger connection and grips both sides of the frame. This changes the relationship between cassette and rear derailleur from the ground up.
