Directions:
To strip a factory greased chain in your Silca Ultimate Chain Waxing System, start by turning on the wax melter with 300gm of Secret Chain Blend hot wax. The machine will turn on to a temperature of 75C, increase by pushing the + button so that the temperature reads 125C. Break off one (1) 12 gram piece of StripChip and place on top of the wax as it is melting.
Allow the wax and StripChip to fully melt such that the StripChip is no longer visible. Gently lower the chain using the cable coupler into the wax and gently agitate the chain in the wax for 30 seconds being careful not to spill or splatter any wax. Allow the chain to sit in the 125C wax mixture for 10 minutes. Lightly agitate the chain again for 30 seconds, and then lower the temperature on the machine back to 75C. Once the temperature reaches 75C (about 10 more minutes) it is safe to remove the chain from the wax using the cable coupler and hang to dry on waxing stand. Then off machine after use.
