The result is a completely new development with a large FADE freehub system. It now has three pawls instead of the previous two toothed pulleys. The large diameter of the FADE freewheel reduces the forces occurring in the freewheel and the newly designed tooth profile ensures significantly reduced freewheel noise. The three pawls are very short and wide, which ensures a large-area and therefore gentle power transmission. As with the previous hubs, the new FADE MTB hubs contain more material at the critical points and are therefore more secure than hubs from other manufacturers. Of course, the lightweight, robust FADE MTB hubs are available with all three freewheel types (Shimano, XD, MicroSpline).
