The low weight, which so far has only been reserved for tubular rims makes them miraculous accelerators and very reactive. The high stability is responsible for not wasting a single bit of energy or and a high steering precision.
The massive width of 26 mm is responsible for a high stability and stiffness. The huge internal width of 16.5 mm allows the tire to evolve in a very advantageous shape that not only allows to ride with a lower pressure without bulking under load or in corners, but at the same time increases the comfort and yields a reduction in rolling resistance.
Our new version makes use of a completely re-designed rim bed and therewith also allows the use of tubeless tires (TLR). The pronounced hooks lock the tires firmly in place and allow for an easy installation and sealing. The wheels are factory shipped with tubeless tape - of course as before they are also compatible with conventional tire/tube combinations for a maximum flexibility.
Our road clincher rims have already proven their extreme strength by winning the latest carbon wheel test shootout in Tour-Magazine (Tour 10/2017) - being one of only five of the 22 tested sets to pass the impact testing, yet by far the lightest. The 2018 version also is UCI-approved, so can be used in UCI-sanctioned events. Each rim us individually tested at a tire pressure of 12 bar prior to release which is a testament to their extreme stability.
